CLCM works with the State of Oregon to recruit, and license foster homes supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Josephine, Douglas, Curry, Coos, Wasco, Sherman, and Hood River Counties. Foster care homes provide care and services in a safe, home-like environment. Services includes 24-hour supervision, meals, assistance with hygiene and other daily living support needs, medical supports and more based on a person’s specific needs. Each person residing in the home pays a flat and established rate monthly for room and board. The State of Oregon pays the foster care provider for the support services based on the consumer’s assessed needs.

Foster Care providers can locate helpful resources and licensing information here.
